Are you electrified?

Now I really appreciate all the safety precautions of our electrical system; all those earth wires and what not they made us learn in Physics. 'Cos I nearly got frickin' electrocuted today.

I wanted to charge my mp3. I plugged the charger in and flipped on the switch. Three things happened simultaneously next. There was a loud BOOM, sparks came out and my house blacked out. O.O

I had a nasty scare. In that split second, I snatched my hand back from the switch and stared incredulously at the smoking charger. There was a distinct burning smell. After groping around in the darkness, I managed to locate my cellphone, flick on its light, pull out the charger, while my mum went to the main electrical box to get the lights in the house back on.

Goodness. And all that was running through my stupefied mind was "What the hell...?"




Anyway... Leo Ku rocks!! =D Shoot me somebody. I've lost my mind.
